Terms of Service

These Terms of Service ("Terms") govern your access to and use of Apigent (the "Service"). By using the Service, you agree to these Terms. This is a sample document for demonstration purposes only and should be reviewed by counsel before production use.
1. Accounts
You must provide accurate information when creating an account and are responsible for safeguarding your credentials. You are responsible for all activity that occurs under your account.
2. Acceptable Use
- Do not use the Service to violate any law or third-party right.
- Do not attempt to disrupt, reverse engineer, or gain unauthorized access.
- Do not transmit malware, spam, or harmful content through the Service.
- Respect the rate limits and quotas associated with your plan.
3. Subscriptions and Billing
Paid plans are billed in advance on a recurring basis. You authorize us to charge your payment method until you cancel. Fees are non-refundable except where required by law.
4. Customer Data
You retain all rights to data you submit to the Service ("Customer Data"). You grant us a limited license to host, process, and transmit Customer Data solely to provide the Service.
5. Intellectual Property
The Service, including all software, designs, and trademarks, is owned by Apigent or its licensors. No rights are granted except as expressly set out in these Terms.
6. Confidentiality
Each party will protect the other's confidential information using the same care it uses for its own, and at minimum a reasonable standard of care.
7. Disclaimers
The Service is provided "as is" without warranties of any kind, whether express, implied, or statutory, including warranties of merchantability and fitness for a particular purpose.
8. Limitation of Liability
To the maximum extent permitted by law, Apigent's aggregate liability arising from or relating to the Service will not exceed the fees paid by you in the twelve months preceding the claim.
9. Termination
You may stop using the Service at any time. We may suspend or terminate your access if you breach these Terms or if required by law. Sections that by their nature should survive termination will survive.
10. Governing Law
These Terms are governed by the laws of the State of Delaware, without regard to its conflict of laws principles. Disputes will be resolved exclusively in the state or federal courts located in Delaware.
11. Changes to These Terms
We may revise these Terms from time to time. If a change is material, we will notify you before it takes effect. Continued use of the Service constitutes acceptance.
